Please share your 2011 weather stories here:
NOTE
Dear Kevin,
Summer isn’t even over, and this year we’ve already experienced some of the most bizarre and severe weather imaginable.
Between extreme heat, severe thunderstorms, record breaking blizzards, wildfires, heat waves, droughts and floods, it seems like every time we catch our breath, we have another major event to prepare for or respond to.
These extreme weather events have been affecting people and places all over the globe, and it doesn’t look like it will be letting up anytime soon.
We’d love to hear how it’s impacting you personally in [AMERICA and around the globe].
We are collecting stories from supporters like you who have observed, gotten stuck in, driven through, or been affected by crazy weather this year.

Inside the Phoenix Dust Storm: An EDF Staffer’s Perspective
As grassroots, environmental activists, one of your most powerful tools is your voice. Have you had a personal experience with an extreme weather event? Share your story here.
It’s no coincidence that as the planet gets warmer, the incidences of extreme weather increase. Among scientists, the link between climate change and weird weather is not controversial…that only comes into play when politicians are involved.
This year the weather has been more destructive in terms of economic loss than any on record and weather forecasters are already predicting further mayhem as hurricane season intensifies.
Sharing your stories and experiences is the first step towards helping to create a shared solution.
Thank you for your incredible support.
