Last year, a pair of Senators – one Democrat, and one Republican – came together to introduce legislation to keep our communities safer from gun violence.

A minority of Senators blocked legislation
If we’re going to get another chance to pass background checks, or legislation to keep guns out the hands of domestic abusers, we MUST protect people who voted the right away.

For decades, the gun lobby has poured tens of millions of dollars into races, creating culture of fear in Congress and State Houses. They’ll try again in 2014.

This year is the first time there’s a real counterweight to their efforts, and if we stick together and work hard we can beat them on Election Day.
