I’d  like to make clear  that a book like EVERYTHING’S AN ARGUMENT  (by Andrea A. Lunsford , John J. Ruszkiewicz , and  Keith Waltersneeds to be used and integrated in American schools to teaching reading skills and rhetoric across all skills in schools.

I have used one version of the book  with non-native speakers of English and they get it.

American evangelical christians have been particularly vulnerable to the numerous morally repugnant and morally relativistic arguments used in the recent Trump campaign for president.  This means that logic lessons are being ignored or manipulated in both school and church education

On the other hand, school districts are often not permitted to even hire the best teachers for civics, character education, and the social sciences in America because the school board and citizenry want someone in their own image–not a hero or leader to take them out of the woods of fuzzy thinking.  Across the USA, communities most promote clearer thinking and fairness in hiring and teaching.
