While there are many causes of our warming planet, deforestation is particularly devastating—it generates 25% of the greenhouse gas emissions responsible for climate change. Take a moment to learn how deforestation is having a major impact on our climate.

2016 looks like it will be the hottest year on record. Given the scientific realities we face, the Rainforest Alliance’s work to keep forests standing is critically important. As we enter 2017, we’re going to need your support more than ever to continue the fight against climate change.
