This isn’t a verse about Jesus that usually ends up on inspirational posters or mugs but maybe it should be. What a beautiful example of the emotional, passionate teacher who made a plan and took action against the economic exploitation of everyday people! He spoke clearly to those perpetrating injustice – Get out! Stop! We can adopt the lifestyle of Jesus by speaking up and yes, even acting up in acts of public protest!
