Pearl Jam and Global Citizens need you 16- to 20year-olds

Hey Kevin,

To see a world free of extreme poverty by 2030, we need Global Citizens like you to get involved in our movement. That’s why Global Citizen is pleased to announce the 2017 Curtis Scholarship Program, conceived by Pearl Jam Manager Kelly Curtis, for students between the ages of 16 to 20 from diverse and underrepresented communities.

Program Highlights Include:

  • Monthly mentorship opportunities and toolkits
  • Round trip airfare to South Africa (July) and New York (September)
  • Orientation
  • All trip-related meals
  • Lodging and transportation
  • Other out-of-pocket expenses
  • Passport fees and all travel costs associated with this trip

The Curtis Scholarship will select students to participate in a yearlong mentorship program. Scholars will be given an all expenses paid learning trip to South Africa from July 28 to August 6, and the NYC Global Citizen Festival from September 20 to September 24.
