Your Congressmen has spent hundreds of billions on a missile defense system that doesn’t work–while Gutting the EPA?????

Center for Arms Control and Non-Proliferation

Kevin,

We’ve spent tens of billions — about 5x the size of the Environmental Protection Agency’s annual budget — on a national missile defense program that still doesn’t work.

With next year’s Pentagon budget on the legislative agenda, our experts have been hard at work educating Congress and the public about the failures of the program. Philip E. Coyle, our Senior Science Fellow and a former senior Pentagon official, has been quoted in the news media repeatedly over the last few weeks.

His message is simple: Spending billions on a program that doesn’t work is unacceptable. Improve national security with smart reform, not an endless waste of dollars.

We are one of the only organizations highlighting such wasteful Pentagon spending. Will you donate $5 to protect taxpayer dollars and prioritize programs that actually make us safer?

We can’t do it without you.

Sincerely,

John Tierney
