Generosity starts where you are and with what you have

But he answered them, “You give them something to eat.” They said to him, “Are we to go and buy two hundred denarii worth of bread, and give it to them to eat?” And he said to them, “How many loaves have you? Go and see.” When they had found out, they said, “Five, and two fish.”

Mark 6: 37-38

Generosity starts where you are and with what you have. You have something God wants you to share. That something might be money, but it could also be your time, your skills, your social network, your home. The disciples focused on the 5,000 in the crowd, and Jesus focused on the five loaves and two fish. What we have is enough for Jesus to work with.
