Call to defend Net Neutrality!
Cable companies want to be able to rip off consumers and charge websites arbitrary fees and slow (to a crawl) any sites that won’t pay up. Don’t let them. Call Now! »
Thank you to everyone who signed our petition to protect Net Neutrality and prevent internet providers from ripping off consumers and controlling access to content. Thanks to amazing work by our partner organizations and people like you, we have reached over 305,000 signatures (and counting!) to protect Net Neutrality.
Now it’s time for the next step.
Around the world, millions of people rely on the internet to access information, help them conduct business, and connect them with services and opportunities. Enabling families to access affordable internet services is an issue of economic security. As progressives, we believe not only in a free and open internet, but in free and open access to the internet- companies should not be able to rip off consumers and websites by turning internet services into a profiteering racket.
We all want to live life in the fast lane, but FCC Chair Ajit Pai—a former Verizon lawyer—is about to let Comcast, Verizon, Time Warner and AT&T control access to service and content. “Slow lanes” will kill the internet as we know it.
Thank you for the great work you do to fight for a better future.
