Why did Jesus Say you will know them by their fruit?

“You will know them by their fruit.  Do people get bunches of grapes from thorny weeds, or do they get figs from thistles?”

Matthew 7:16 (See Matt. 7:15-20)

It’s important that we pay attention to the fruit we’re putting out to the world through our lifestyle, words, actions…on the strong vine producing grapes or caught up in weeds and thistles.
