Instacart Lays Off 2,000 Workers, Including Group Who Started Company’s First Union

In labor news, the grocery delivery app Instacart is laying off nearly 2,000 workers, including a group of employees from Illinois who created the first and only union of Instacart workers and inspired others across the country to organize.
